Dear Sweet Leota

A tombstone in front of The Haunted Mansion with an interesting backstory. The "bronze-faced" gravestone was put in by WDI without any warning, leading people to question if they saw it move, and kids telling their parents that it opened it's eyes, to which it was quickly disregarded. They're actually right, this tombstone does indeed "wake up" to watch guests enter the mansion. This is the grave of Madame Leota, the clairvoyant psychic seen in the Seance Room.

Madame Leota is named after Leota Toombs, a WDI member who helped sculpt various faces for animatronics and statues, quite possibly this one too! It's her face that is projected into the crystal ball in the Seance Room, however, her voice is provided by Eleanor Audley, who had previously voiced Maleficent in Sleeping Beauty.
